Lwest coast whitebaitast Thursday we had the pleasure of catering to the nominations for the 2013 “The New Zealander of the Year” awards at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery. What a great bunch we have nominated down this way and great to see Sam Johnston from the Student Army has been nominated and recognized for his efforts in CHCH. Their request was for local/NZ food and as always Chef Gordon didn’t disappoint … we served …

– lamb skewers with bbspice and (Gordon’s homemade) nectar relish….
– west coast whitebait meuniere style on white bread squares with highlanders dressing…. (very popular as you can imagine)
– quincy venison pies w sage and parmesan……. 
– roast red onion and bell pepper on black olive crostini bits with whitestone fuschia creek feta and bbpesto…..
