It’s NOVEMBER … 7 weeks till Christmas (sorry your probably didn’t want to know that) WHERE HAS THE YEAR GONE!!!
October flew by with some amazing events and special occasions celebrated with bbcatering’s delicious food and as always we have been fortunate to have catered in some of Dunedin’s beautiful venue’s and we have been humbled to have been invited into private homes to cater family occasions … so where to start ………
Fish with parsley sauce and vegetarian cabbage rolls with couscousChef Gordon has been busy (as usual) and bbmeals have added another 2 meals to our yummy frozen meal selection, fish fillet with parsley sauce and vegetarian cabbage rolls, meals are flying out the door, local deliveries, pickups and heaps heading to Christchurch recently, give us a call to order your pack, so easy, convenient and tasty (your own personal chef cooking for you lol!!) …..

ORFU luncheon for life members at the Grizzlies Club Rooms (as a Demon girl it was hard but I fought through lol) ….. Hammerhead productions yet again hosted another successful MMA fight night Conquest and bbcatering supporting the team with 3 finger food courses throughout the night ….. it was an honour to help Sandy & Mark and Vanessa & Hayden and their guests celebrate their wedding day, we served Sandy & Mark at Chingford stables for a lovely small wedding recpetion with canapes and buffet mains & desserts,  then to the other extreme of the large wedding of Vanessa and Hayden at the Port Chalmers town hall for a main course only, both amazing weddings and fantastic venues ….. great to assist the newlyweds on their special day but it is a real privilege to have been able to help Margaret & Richard and Graham & Joy celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversaries, wow what an accomplishment!! Margaret and Richard celebrated their milestone at their beautiful home and bbcatering supplied beverage staff, delicious glazed ham, salads and dessert to complement the amazing array of traditional Lebanese food that Margaret and her family were so busy preparing, and from one nationality to another we headed to the Chinese Gardens to help Graham and Joy celebrate their milestone of marriage where we served canapes while guests walked around the gardens and then a standing fork food style buffet with bbglazed ham, slow roasted beef, chicken curry and salads mmmm …. and we catered many other events including lunches, cocktail events, zentech, whole bbglazed hams, delivered or served …. so great to be able to assist all these people with their individual requests and requirements …..

BUT in between all of this I broke my ankle ….. I have always been thankful for having amazing business partners, family and staff but you never know how extremely thankful you are until you are in a position of absolute dependence to ensure all goes well for our clients …. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

So what’s next??? November has already begun and we have 2 weddings under our belt, Malcalm Trust treated to some yummy paella at Melbourne Cup, more weddings, conference at the end of the month, deliveries, zentech and who knows we are always looking to assist our next new or old client with their catering requirements
