Paddy and Sonya kicked us off in 2014, getting married on the 4th at the Otago University Cricket Oval and then had their reception in the University Rugby Club Rooms …. beautiful small family orientated, family style seating with one large table to cater to all their 30 odd guests, canapes served on the oval of baxter smoked salmon on crouton, mini chicken burgers, and yorkshire puddings, then upstairs for their wedding breakfast of delicious melt in your mouth slow roasted beef, chef gordons delicious secret glazed ham, salads and vegetables, funky green wedding cake for dessert and supper had some chicken skewers, shaomai, sausage rolls and parmesan tarts …..

then we took a break ………………………………………………………………………………

and our first wedding back after our break was Angela & Durhams out at Durham’s parents amazingly beautiful place on the Taieri … idyllic garden setting for the ceremony with pond and all and then in the next paddock the marquee … canapes of marinated green lipped mussels, Yorkshire puddings, chicken skewers and Vietnamese rolls were walked around the garden offered to guests and then we moved into the beautifully decorated marquee of different shades of purple for an “off site” BBQ – speights and lea & perrins marinated steak, venison and pork sausages, chicken, bell pepper & red onion shish kebabs, tomato salad with mozzarella and basil, our finest broccoli salad and a selection of chef’s homemade relishes to compliment …. great night had by all … even zippy the huskie enjoyed himself

then the next day we help Joanna and David celebrate their union at the Roslyn Wakari AFC club rooms …. what a hidden gem this venue is …. Jo and her bridesmaids looked amazing in their colourful traditional dresses and then they changed back into the wedding attire to welcome their guests …. canapes of mini chicken saltimbocca and pork & prawn shamoai then for the main course buffet we had Chinese honey style chicken, teriyaki beef steaks, macaroni salad, sticky steamed rice and Asian stir-fry vegetables ….
