so last week was pretty quite for the front of house with the number of serviced events we had but as usual the kitchen was humming pushing out delicious food for our guests to enjoy ….

Saturday we had a couple of events ….

We had the pleasure of catering to the CanTeen Fundraiser on the beautiful launch the Tiakina where they took generous guests for a 2 hour cruise around our harbour and we supplied them with delicious nibbles …. prawn pinwheels with highlander dressing, venison
pies with sage and Parmesan, mini smoked chicken burgers with brie and cranberry, smoked salmon finger sandwiches, Vietnamese rolls with BBQ pork, Yorkshire puddings etc, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and food, thanks to Paula from the Tiakina and also Donna from @CanTeen for giving us the chance to be involved in such a great fundraising cause

Then we moved onto Knox Church Hall to serve the Wedding ceremony of Chris and Larysa ….

What a beautiful bride Larysa was and it was great to see that she included some of her culture with some Russian wedding traditions, like the dessert table, Russian band, and then she sang to Chris in Russian …. was so cool

For their wedding breakfast we served … melt in your mouth roast beef, chicken with veloute sauce, Israsli couscous salad, mediterranean vegetable salad, herb and garlic roasted potatoes and freshly steamed crunchy vegetables and then complimented their yummy carrot wedding cake with some fresh fruits and cream

Great week but now to gear up for this weekend which is going to be huge …. Saturday – a wedding for 90 in a barn and a dinner for 200 at the Otago Museum, then Sunday another event at the Otago Museum for 120 …. lets go
