OMG 20th of January already … where has the month gone??? Well I hope you all have managed to enjoyed some of Dunedin’s most stunning weather of the past weeks, it most definitely has been a weather month for weddings (if not too hot sometimes … can I say that??)
What a month so far for bb, we have been privileged to have been invited to cater for some amazing weddings …7 so far and 5 to go for January ….
We’ve been to Karitane, Huriawa Pa, Tautuku, Grandview Gardens, Varsity RFC, and Wingatui … we’ve served guests with canapes, main course buffets, main courses served family style, dessert buffets and desserts served family style … pork and shrimp shaomai, Vietnamese rolls, parmesan tarts, mini burgers, chicken skewers w satay … chef Gordon’s to die for slow roasted beef (one gentleman from last weekend’s wedding commented …”never have roasts when I go out, no one beats mums roast .. until now never had a roast so good”), chicken provencal, salmon fillets on tatsoi w Kikkoman, roast pork with plenty of crackling, roast lamb w greek flavours, fatoush salad, Mediterranean vegetable salad, Israeli couscous w mushrooms, roast beetroot with red onion and feta, mini cream brulee, homemade brandy snaps, lemon meringue pies, mini banoffee pies …. I could go on for ages
To those couples and guests we have had the pleasure of serving thank you immensely and for those we are still to come we can’t wait!!
